Shawn Custis, President
Symmes Twp. resident Shawn Custis is the owner and renovator of the Loveland Artist Studios on Main. Shawn also has the offices of his company Columbia Financial Services in the same building. Shawn combines his experience as an entrepreneur with an enjoyment of art in his goals for the Arts Council.

Ginny Reynolds, Vice President - Scholarships
Ginny was born & raised in KY. She graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the UK & a Masters in Education from the UC. She taught art in CT & CA & for 22 years at Loveland High School. Married for 42 years to George Reynolds, they have 2 sons, one in CA & one in CO who is father to grand twins, Hope & Finn. She works in oils & pastels and examples can be found at www.theartistsgallery.info

Elizabeth Murphy, Vice President - Art Director/Ovation/Website
Elizabeth is an artist and graphic designer. She is a painter who is currently working in the traditional Byzantine style writing icons (www.illusionstudio.net). Murphy is the book designer and illustrator for Dos Madres Press (www.dosmadres.com). She also designs and builds websites. Murphy, her husband and son are twenty year residents of Symmes Township.

Holly McAtee, Secretary
Holly works for Ad Mail and the Media-Edge as an Account Executive. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Literature with a Creative Writing Emphasis from Northern Kentucky University. She also writes for Cincy Magazine. She has always been a big supporter of the arts, and an artist herself. Holly lives in Loveland with her husband and two children (Roary and Bella).

Pam Gross, Treasurer
My name is Pamela Gross. I am the Owner and President of Management & Accounting Professionals, Inc. We believe in “Making Accounting Personal”. I have been an accountant for 16 years and graduated with a Bachelors degree from the College of Mount St. Joseph. I live in Loveland with my husband, Jeff, and our two dogs Maggie and Charlotte and a cat named Belle.

Kay Bolin, At-large - Publicity
Kay has been a Loveland resident since 1993. She and and her husband Tim are avid art collectors and are currently converting their garage into a pottery studio for Tim’s retirement hobby. Kay retired 4 years ago and quickly got involved with Loveland Stage Company and Loveland Beautification Committee and is now thrilled to have the opportunity to join the family of our Loveland Arts Council.

Graduated Loveland High School 2004. Cory’s parents are both teachers. A year of seasoning at Wright State University and 8 years at Skyline Chili prepaired Cory for his Ambassadorship at the buZZthru Espresso Bar where he can be found polishing his barista expertise four days a week.

Pauline Miller, Membership/Development
Originally from upstate New York, I moved to Miami Township with my husbnd and 2 children in 1995. In 2/96, I left my nursing profession and opened my home sewing and alteration business, Stitches by Pauline, that I grew with word of mouth referrals. Over the years, I have volunteered sewing services to the Loveland Stage Company and various Loveland school programs. I was treasurer of The Loveland Arts Council for 2 yrs. and have been the membership development chairperson for this organization for the last 8 years.

Linda Henn Bergholz, Music Co-ordinator
Linda currently teaches nearly 70 students at LMA and LOL, continues as Executive Director of JME (Junior Music Experience). www.lovelandmusicacademy.com As a Managing Partner of LMA, Linda hopes to encourage students to pursue whatever type of music and instrument they desire–piano, keyboards, flute, percussion, woodwinds, brass, strings, harp, voice–and, since we love the performing arts, acting as well!

Deirdre Dyson, Trustee
Deirdre is a freelance painter, set designer and stage director. She served as LAC President for the last 4 years. Retired from teaching art at Loveland High School, she currently teaches landscape painting for the Art Academy of Cincinnati. ART HOUSE ll in Lovleand is Deirdre’s new studio and Gallery.

Pat Furterer, Trustee
Live theater and the arts have played an important and consuming part of Pat’s entire life. She has played the roles of actress, director, producer, educator, motivator, organizer, fundraiser, advisor and ambassador to list a few. She has been the driving force behind The Loveland Stage Company and whole hartedly supports all “art forms” in the community.

Dr. Doug Portmann, DC, Trustee
Dr. Portmann, owner of Wards Corner Chiropractic and Sports Rehab, has been serving the health care needs of the Cincinnati community for over ten years, beginning with a St. Bernard clinic he founded in 1995. In May of 2002 he moved to the Loveland area with his wife, Sandie, and their two daughters. The Portmanns decided Loveland would be a great place to call home. A certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Doug is active as a volunteer for local sports organizations.
