Loveland Arts Council Scholarship Form

Award of $500 will be given to one graduating senior for college study in the visual arts from the Loveland Arts Council. This scholarship may be renewed (up to 4 years), by submitting a satisfactory college GPA, reporting on activities and accomplishments for the previous year and showing us examples of your artwork and outlining goals for the upcoming year. Renewal reminders will be sent to each scholarship winner in the spring of each year of elligibility.

Selection will be made on the strength of information requested below, portfolio examples and the essay. This
scholarship is open to any senior within the geographical Loveland City School District, regardless of school attended. Private school and home-schooled students are invited to apply.

The application form, the handwritten essay, letters of recommendation and other written materials may be sent to The Loveland Art Studios, 529 Main Avenue, Loveland, OH, OR you may deliver your forms in person to the above address OR if you are a Loveland High School student you may deliver your application materials to the Loveland HS guidance office - DEADLINE for all: 3pm April 18, 2008. Please include with the forms at least 10 (slides, pictures or digital) images of your visual art work. If you prefer, the arts council will also accept portfolio originals. (If you are a student at Loveland High School and will have work displayed in the April 27 Senior Show please indicate that and we can see your portfolio there if you choose. Other materials to be delivered by April 18 deadline to The Loveland Art Studios as above)
